The girls and boys basketball team are above .500 and are, currently, on to the second round of districts. This brings both of them closer to their main goal: state.
Although the style of play and the dynamics for the team is different than last year, the girl's basketball team is going to use it to their advantage to win most games. Their season began on October 18 and they have already established their plays.

After their loss in the first round of playoffs last year, the boys basketball team has been preparing to make a comeback this year. Some of the hard work they’ve put in is already beginning to show.
In the past two years, the girls basketball team has made it to playoffs but have never made it past the second round. However, on February 19, the girls beat Brandeis and advanced to the third round. Although they ultimately ended up losing to Steele, this accomplishment is still a first for the school.
