Staff offers yearbook preview, purchasing details

The yearbook staff has been hard at work, capturing memories from day one. From football games to choir concerts, swim meets to pep rallies, members of the staff are always present with a camera, taking pictures of Johnson’s student activity. Though the yearbook will be published in the spring, the staff has already had to meet several deadlines.

“We just sent in our first set of proofs including events through June and September,” senior and Editor Elizabeth Bachle said.

Knowing that they would have a busy calendar to work around, the staff selected the yearbook theme this past summer, before the activities of the school year started.

“Our theme is ‘Get with it’ and we have incorporated new technology to expand the yearbook content beyond the paper pages,” Bachle said.

The price of the yearbook has not increased, but the cost will go up in the coming months.

“The yearbooks are $65 until January on www.smart-pay.com,” Bachle said.

A preview of some of the pages are accessible via Facebook.

“We have a Facebook fan page,” Bachle said. “Search ‘Johnson HS Yearbook’ and we have posted sneak peeks to pages from this year’s book!”
