Day thirty-something of quarantine and the severity of the pandemic is really sinking in--we switch on the news, and they’re talking about the Coronavirus, we say good morning to our family and suddenly we’re talking about the Coronavirus. There’s no escape and everything seems gloomy, however, in these dark times there’s still some very amusing light.
Jan. 3 marked the beginning of tensions between the United States and Iran reaching a ‘boiling point’ after a US drone killed Iranian major general Qasem Soleimani at Baghdad International Airport, Baghdad, Iraq.
As was announced last school year, there is now a new security fence surrounding the school, adding to the list of security measures, such as clear back-packs, which have been taken in recent years.
