Students will notice a change this fall, librarian Terri Sanchez will be opening a cafe addition to the library in the month of October.
The doors open. Along with a rush of cool air comes the stench of espresso and a quiet, concentrated atmosphere-great for studying and energizing you for the rest of your day. This may raise thoughts of Starbucks or similar coffee shops, however it will soon be a reality in the school library.
Johnson High School has opened a new study lounge for students who want to study or do homework during lunch. Located in the library, the room provides a quiet place for students to concentrate and focus on their assignments.
