Falcons Excel At UIL Meet

On March 31, several students from Krueger Middle School competed in University Interscholastic League events.
The team of Falcons at the meet totaled 77 points and did a good job representing their school according to mentor Kathleen Weideman. These team points earned Krueger the small school first place sweepstakes team trophy.
In the Prose event, Isabel Mayer won a silver medal for second place and Kaylin Robinson earned a third place bronze. Also competing for Krueger was Ruth Long, who finished fourth place and was given a ribbon for her contributions.
Other competitors included Malayah Thompson (6th Place, Impromptu Speaking and 5th Place, Modern Oratory), and Enrique Eulloqui (Honorable Mention, Impromptu Speaking).
On March 25, Krueger symphony orchestra members participated in the UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest held at Johnson HS.  They received an Excellent rating on their stage performance, and a Superior rating on their sightreading performance.

    Band also got an excellent rating at U.I.L and Academic U.I.L got 1st place for small school in the district
