Theater Arts at Krueger

I am an 8th grade Theater Arts student at Krueger Middle School. I have helped out with a few plays but on stage isn’t really my strongest point. I like doing behind the scenes work. Theater Arts is a great place to express yourself. It helps you get over stage fright and the anxiety of talking in front of a group of people. You will learn to make costumes, do make-up, and how to become a better actor if you take Theater. Ms. Weideman is an amazing Theater Arts teacher.

If you do decide that you want to try theater, my best advice I could give you would be to let loose and be yourself. Don’t be quiet and shy because otherwise how are you supposed to grow and learn. Acting is not easy – I will tell you that, but once you get the hang of it it will get easier. The first time you step up on that stage, yes, you will be nervous, but once you start then everything will seem as if it was nothing. If you set your mind to it you can achieve anything you want!
