This year, MUNSA (Model United Nations San Antonio) attracted a group of Chinese students who arrived in San Antonio this past Sunday in order to participate as co-delegates. One day out of the MUNSA event, the students from Jimusi High School #1 are to observe.
Fellow MUNSA participants have opened their homes and are acting as host families. The Chinese students are staying in the home the person they observe in class. Trevor Antrim commented about the accommodation. “It’s fun,” he said, “I don’t have a brother. Its like teaching him about America and how we live.”
Antrim’s guest, Lui Rui, said, “People here are outgoing and have a warm heart.”
The students fly back to China Wednesday.
