November is the time for the annual blood drive. Sign up dates for the event are this week.
The blood drive is usually hosted by the JROTC cadets, however this year it will be held by the MacArthur Cheerleaders. JROTC will have another drive at a soon to be announced date.
The purpose of these drives is for students to donate a small amount of their blood in order to help those in need of it. Students must be 17 to donate and at least 16 with a signed permission form from the students parents. Weight qualifications based on age must also be met.
The theme for this years blood drive is Y NOT, so why not take a little time out of your day and donate?
