This new device is currently being advertised as “Star Trek” looking glasses with a clear display a little above the eye. The device will be able to stream information like GPS, appointments that you’ve made or you are setting up, receive and send messages through voice command, and a built in camera that can record and stream video and take pictures.

Even though Project Glass may not come out anytime soon, Mr.Lee, Google’s Product Manager commented in an interview with NY Times as to why they have started releasing information. “We’re sharing this information now because we want to start a conversation and learn from your valuable input,” Mr. Lee said.

To give your input on what other features these futuristic glasses should have you can visit the Google Project Glass and comment on their post. Hopefully in the near future we can simply answer a message with only our voice or capture the moment with click a button.
