The lights dim as a herd of juniors saunter over to blocks, standing around until movement ceases. Then almost

instantaneously they began to chant telling stories of lost souls. After this they all sit and one by one each junior gets up preforming a moving monologue from the book Spoon River.

Wednesday December 5th the Juniors of the Varsity Theatre class performed multiple monologues in the black box. There were screams and tears and trembling hands. The theatre kids performance was outstanding. Here are a few pictures from the event.
