Girls Soccer Rises In Ranks After Victory

Friday’s victory over the Johnson Jaguars bumped girls soccer up from the number six to number four in the rankings.

The girls were victorious over the Jags 1-0 Fri. March 1. Aggressive play and hard defense, along with the eight saves by Mary Cardone (9), helped the team come out with a victory.

In what presented itself as a tough matchup against the number two team in the city, girls soccer handled the challenge with strength and skill.

The girls are currently 13-2-2 (W-T-L) as of March 4.
