Girls Overcome Setback vs. Madison

The absence of starting goalie Mary Cardone, 10, presented a major hole in the girls soccer team’s defense. But, they overcame and won 4-3 vs. Madison Fri. Feb. 21.

“Mary Cardone is a special girl,” Coach Erik Stolhandske said. “Playing without her, it means we have to play harder with a little more urgency in the defense and keep shots from happening.”
