Harold Ramis, of Ghostbusters and Caddyshack fame, passed away Monday, Feb. 24 due to “complications related to autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis”, which he had been dealing with for four years. He was 69.

He often stared, wrote, and/or directed movies with fellow comedy star Bill Murray. Some of his other projects include some episodes of The Office and the movie Groundhogs Day. He is probably most known as Dr. Egon Spengler from Ghostbusters 1 & 2.

In other news, Sony still plans to make a Ghostbusters 3 despite the death of Egon, as he and the other original Ghostbusters were meant only to appear as a cameo.
