The new Doctor Who Club met for the first time after school on Thursday, Jan. 15 in Ms. Williams’ room, after getting the final approval from the office to start the organization. This club serves to unite students with common interests.

“The Doctor Who Club brings together a wide variety of people who might not be athletic, or may not really be science nerds, but they all share one thing, and that’s that they like Doctor Who,”freshmen and co-president Calvin Carroll said. “It’s really a chance for different groups of people to get together.”

The plans for this new club go beyond just watching Doctor Who.

“During the club we will be watching episodes, discussing [and] analyzing the show, looking at different characters, and doing different activities that involve the show,”Carroll said. “[We] hope to maybe go on a trip at the end of the year.”

The Doctor Who Club will be meeting the third Thursday of every month. Any fans of Doctor Who will be welcome to join their fellow whovians to celebrate this British hit.
