On Wed. April 27, the Special Olympians competed against the faculty for the annual tournament. The Olympians beat the faculty with a 17 point lead and a final score of 49-32. Special guest and retired Spurs player Antonio Daniels, #33, worked with the players and coached them during the game.
“Their smiles, their personalities, their diversities, it’s an amazing group of kids,” Daniels said. “Any opportunity I have to give time to give back to the community is the best [way] to serve and [I] want to make the most of it.”
