The 90’s; a time where the boy band N’sync became big, cell phones made their debut appearance, and the Lady Mavs soccer team made state three times. On Jan. 4, alumni from classes of ’91 ’93 and ’95 joined together against the Lady Mavs soccer players of today for a continuance of the tradition.
“It helps us see how our team is meshing together before the season starts,” senior captain Kathryn Vasquez said.
The team played well, winning 2-0 against the Alumni.
“It was a good competitive game,” girl’s soccer head coach Audrey Ambrose said.
The ladies will test their skills again in a tourney tomorrow at Judson High School.
