Stressing Seniors

Towards the end of the year deadlines approach and students receive thier final ranks. In addition, students get ready to make their way to college. Therefore, making senior year filled with stress, stress, and even more stress.

“Keeping my rank up while getting all my college applications in and managing extracurriculars was a hassle [and] no fun at all,” senior Sanda Loza said. “Right now I’m just anxious to hear back from colleges and for AP exams.”

However, some students try to keep a positive outlook on the worries as they know it will all pay off when they graduate and enter the real world.

“Senior year hasn’t been all fun and games, mostly worrying and planning where we’re going to be next fall but in the end, it’s all going to be worth it when we can look back and see how far we’ve come,” senior Diana Padilla said.

Even the thought of the final year of high school proved enough for students to pull through and give it their all.

“It was just all pretty stressful because core classes had like a constant influx of homework. Time management was basically impossible and when you finally figure out a schedule it was all due and you already had more homework,” senior Joey Hechler said. “But I was able to conquer it because I knew it was my last year.”
