New faces: Scott Rogers

By Fryda DeAlva

With new administrators comes the opportunity to welcome them to the Madison campus and discover what they’re all about. This week is dedicated assistant principle Scott Rogers, who majored in history and enjoys looking into philosophy (not to mention fishing).

“The number and size of the student body keeps everything very diverse and it’s a good bunch of kids, it’s difficult but they do pretty good,” Rogers said.

The assistant principle gives some good advice for the student body which will take anyone who listens far in life.

“Stay focused on your goals and grades, they may change and you can change them but work to complete or meet them,” Rogers said.

As the interview went on it was evident that Rogers is a very intelligent, integral part of the Madison campus. We’re very lucky to have him, and he thinks he’s lucky to be here, too.

“I actually prefer being at Madison,” Rogers said.
