A song title revealed by a series of pictures uploaded through Walk the Moon’s Instagram account announced their new single. In addition, an email disclosed the new tour dates.
Prior to today’s fame, Walk the Moon originated from Cincinnati, Ohio. The four boys came together in 2008 with hopes for a successful music career. It didn’t take long before their first official music video release in November of 2010 for “Anna Sun,” which brought upon their concert face paint tradition. In addition, the FIFA 13 official soundtrack featured “Quesadilla.”
Now, Walk the Moon is back with a new single entitled “Shut Up and Dance,” an upbeat and catchy tune which shot up to the number three slot on their Spotify top five songs. The new material left many fans craving more and hoping for an album release date. “New Album Coming Late 2014” – the only information on the album’s release date according to walkthemoonband.com.
Furthermore, their new Shut Up and Dance tour dates include a show in Austin which sold out.
This new mystery album created many grand expectations from fans, and coming from material provided so far, expectations are definitely not to fall short.
