The softball season is a few months away, but Coach Friesenhahn is already looking forward to an exciting season. Friesenhahn has been teaching at Madison since 2003. While coaching her varsity softball class, she tries to have the team improve their skills to their maximum ability.
For varsity, it is all about getting better and learning from the season before. Whether the team loses or wins a game, it is an opportunity to improve.
“Most of the time, I watch the game to see if there’s something that could have been prevented, and then we adjust to meet whatever it is that we didn’t perform with for us not to have that same outcome. Then we practice, change, and work on whatever we need to work on to help us improve,” said Coach Friesenhahn.
