In only a few weeks, the class of 2022 will be walking the stage and receiving their diplomas. With the last two years being different than usual, many seniors are excited they are almost done.
During the lunch periods of April 13th, 2022, seniors lined up in front of the school to receive their caps, gowns, tassels, and even some 2022 sweatshirts.

Some seniors may be relieved to leave this part of their life behind, while others might reminisce about their high school days.
“It’s a bittersweet moment because I can remember all of my freshman memories throughout the year,” said Carter Pickering. “I’m looking forward to going to college, but I’m still unsure about what to do,” said Pickering.

Now that the seniors are getting ready to leave the nest, some may feel nervous to move on from what they called home for the last four years.
“I’m kind of nervous, but ready to start a new chapter in my life,” said Julissa Rojano. “I’m looking forward to starting my career and the new opportunities I’ll have,” said Rojano.

With all the hard work put into building a foundation for themselves, most may find it all paid off when they walk off of Madison campus for the last time and, walk onto their big college campus for the first time.
