The 2022 World Cup has a lot of fan favorites from our school and not a lot of them are rooting for USA. For example, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo are known on the internet and by a lot of people as the “Best Soccer Players In History”. One of our seniors has his own thoughts about those facts though. “ I’m watching the World Cup so I can see Messi win it and finally end the debate over who’s the goat between Messi and Ronaldo,” said senior Lemarion Crawford.

The students at our school, have their country playing in the World Cup and it gives them a sense of pride and excitement. Senior Abraham Garza is proud to say his family’s Country played in the World Cup. “Getting to see my family’s country in the World Cup gives me a sense of pride to wear green white and red,” said Garza. Seeing Mexico win wasn’t enough to be passed to the next round of the World Cup. Yesterday Wednesday, November 30, 2022, they made their fans proud and gave them hope that maybe In four years they will make it to the finals.
