Anxiety

Everyone has Anxiety from time to time, but what is anxiety?  It’s the human body’s natural response to stress. It’s a feeling of fear or anxiousness about what’s to come.

Anxiety is a normal part of everyone’s life, but there are anxiety disorders.

An anxiety disorder, on the other hand involves intense and excessive anxiety, accompanied with other debilitating symptoms. Usually normal anxiety occurs in response to a stressor, such as a test, an upcoming date, an argument with someone, or a new job.

Interferement | When you have an anxiety disorder, it can affect your entire life. It interferes with your school, job and daily life. For me, personally, it stops me from getting extra help from certain people. Avoidance is a symptom of some anxiety disorders. In other words, the anxiety can cause you to avoid normal activities. You might not go to class, not take a test, stop going to work, or avoid anything that makes you feel anxious.

PTSD/CPTSD | These can play a part in anxiety if you have it. If you have either of these you can experience severe anxiety.

Real | Anxiety is real. It’s not that you just want attention or anything of the sort. Anxiety is the feeling of being worried. Not many people like having anxiety. Personally I don’t like having it either.
