Golden Spur

On Thursday October 30,2014 Wood Middle School held it’s first Golden Spur of the 2014-2015 school year. The Golden Spur is a program to acknowledge the educational achievements and outstanding contributions of students through a process of reinforcement, recognition and rewards. Four students are chosen each nine weeks by their team and elective teachers. These students have displayed excellence during the nine weeks and exemplify what a Golden Spur Wrangler represents. To get a Golden Spur you have to show service, academic excellence/improvement, character, leadership, and citizenship.
