Radio Still Popular With Students

Even with Ipods, MP3 players, and CD players to choose from, a lot of students resort to the old reliable – turning on and jamming with the radio.

Many people listen to the radio everywhere they go, at home, in the park; you can take it almost everywhere you go. FM stations are more common for students to listen to than AM stations, because most students prefer music over talk radio.

People listen to the radio for information, to listen to music, to be aware of the climate or traffic, and finally to know or to be aware of famous people.
“Yes, I do listen to the radio, because it’s interesting. And also that it’s fun to listen to,” Cynthia Valenzuela (8i) said.
I think there’s a lot of radio stations, for different types of music. Pop, rock, country and more different types of music are listed on the radio.

“Yes, I listen to the radio, because sometimes when I get bored, I listen to the radio” Alexandrea Duran (8i) said.
A lot of people like Duran listen to the radio when they get bored. Radio can be a great cure for pure boredom.
“Yes, I like listening to the radio, because it has music that I like”, Austin Smith (8i) said.
