Falcons Debate Which Is Better, Cake Or Pie

There are a lot of different students at Krueger Middle School, so there are also a lot of different opinions. Some students like pie and some like cake, everyone has a different opinion.

Cake is a pastry that can have any flavor frosting on it, almost any kind of filling, and can have multiple flavors. Pie is another pastry that has a flaky crust and is typically filled with fruit. Cake and pie are both things that people like. It is also one of the many debates around the world.

“I like cake, because it is refreshing and it can have icing on it. I like cookies and cream ice cream cake,” Chris VanMeter (7i) said.

Pie is for people who don’t like how cake is just filled with bread because pie can have fruit in it.

“I like pie, because I really like the flavor of different kinds of fruit. My favorite flavor is apple,” Victoria Juarez (6k) said.

Some people like ice cream cake. It is a special kind of cake that doesn’t have bread in it.

“I like cake, because I like how cheesecake is. My favorite kind of cake is cheesecake,” Alex Machado (8i) said.

So there are people who like cake and there are people who like pie. Everyone has their own opinion and favorite flavor. Sometimes there are people who like both. But for both pastries, many people in the world enjoy them every day.
