Apache is a wonderful book. Ed Macy puts you in the cockpit of the worlds premier combat helicopter. This book will bring you on the ride of a lifetime from the comfort of your own home.

The British went into Helmand, Afghanistan the toughest and most dangerous province in Afghanistan. The Apaches are the troops top choice when it comes to choosing close air support. The Apaches are lethal and not forgiving. If you get caught on the wrong end of a hellfire missile your toast (literally).

Ed Macy served in the Britsh royal army for over 20 years (8 of them being in the apache. He spent two tours flying apaches before his retirement in 2006. He is most famous for his jug room fort rescue in which he was awarded the distinguished Flying Cross (the British equivalent of the medal of honer) by the Queen of England.

This book is definitely worth the time to read! Great Job Ed Macy! Thank you for your service!
