Red Cross Helps People Overcome Disasters

There is always going to be need in our world and the Red Cross, like many charity organizations, is there to make things right. The Red Cross can only be successful with help from us.
Donations to the Red Cross mean so much to so many people around the world. One of the best ways to help people in need is through a financial donation, or by giving blood.
The Red Cross is the largest supplier of blood in the world and has been helping those in need since 1881. Aiding the Red Cross means directly helping people of all walks including those in our community with needs. Recently, the organization pledged over 1 million dollars to help those affected by the earthquake in Haiti earlier this year.
The Red Cross collects funds to give immediate relief and long-term recovery to disaster survivors and families affected by tragedies.
The organization collects donations year-round, so whenever a person feels the need to donate they can do so at a number of locations around San Antonio.
The Red Cross will continue to help people as long as we help them by giving blood and our time to those in need.
