You can’t escape him. He’s everywhere. Your T.V., billboards, magazines, the radio. Say his name once and you’re likely to get an ecstatic reaction. Drake.

With the release of his third album, Nothing Was The Same (NWTS), on September 24, 2013, the world was buzzing and his catchy lyrics seemed to be on everyones mind. In fact, it went platinum just 5 weeks after being released and sold 658,637 copies in its first week. But along with the album came a tour as well, going by, Would you like a tour? And the answer seemed to be an overwhelming yes.

Drake himself just happened to stop by San Antonio on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. And it was a performance to remember.

He brought along with him three opening acts, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Future, and Miguel. The concert started at 7:00 p.m. and the opening acts ran a little after 9:00 p.m. After some additional set up Drake finally took the stage around 9:30 and walked out to a sold out AT&T center crowd. The welcome was warm and definitely not quiet. He instantly began performing some of his newest NWTS  hits. The crowd stayed on their feet continuously and never disengaged. He also brought out Jhene Aiko about half way through the show to preform their collaboration From Time. He kept performing until 11:00 p.m. and he left the crowd satisfied and wanting more.

All in all, if you are a hip-hop fan and you ever get the chance, Drake is definitely an artist to see live. His performing aspects are unique and worth the money. It was definitely a 5 star performance.
