Packers Versus Steelers On Super Sunday

The Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers will determine who is the better team on the field this Sunday in the Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas. Roosevelt students have many opinions as to who will win the big game.
The Steelers offense doesn’t score a lot of points according to fans, even in their victories. Instead, they are known for their tough defense. The Packers can score a lot of points at any given time with their quarterback Aaron Rodgers leading the way. On Sunday, one of the two teams will emerge as a world champion and the other will have a whole off-season to think about what went horribly wrong.
The Packers made their way to the Super Bowl by winning three playoff games including a win over the Chicago Bears in the National Football Conference Championship two weeks ago. Pittsburgh won the American Football Conference North Division title and defeated the New York Jets in the AFC Championship to punch their ticket.
“I think that the Steelers are going to win, because they are my second favorite team,” Araceli Martinez, sophomore, said.
Looks like a lot of people root for Pittsburgh these days and sophomore Carl Whitley agrees with Martinez.
“The Steelers are going to win because when Big Ben gets the ball, no one is going to get him,” Whitley said.
You may go for a different team, but your faith will stick to the Steelers as freshmen Matthew Silvas has confirmed.
“I want the Packers to win, but I got a feeling the Steelers will,” Silvas said.
According to the majority of people polled at Roosevelt about the Super Bowl, it’s all about the black and yellow winning. Black and yellow is the colors the Steelers wear on their uniforms. Thanks to music artist Whiz Khalifa, there is a song dedicated to the Steelers with that very name,”Black and Yellow.” That song is a hit on the pop charts and the Steelers are hoping to deliver some hits on Sunday en route to victory.
