Fine arts perform for elementary kids

Fifth graders from the elementary feeder schools received a special show from the fine arts programs last Wednesday. Band, flags, choir and orchestra each had a chance to perform.

Junior flag performer Nubia Perez said she enjoyed performing for the elementary kids.

“Their cute heads and eyes followed the flags twirling,” Perez said.

Band and flags performed first, followed by performances by orchestra and then choir.

“I really am glad the performance went well,” freshman Emerald Bustos said. “I loved how the kids were shocked with amazement. I was really sad to know it was the last performance with the band but overall I feel very accomplished with what we did for the students.”
