Pokemon Go is such a show

For over 20 years Pokemon has been at the top of its game. From anime to video games and card collections, it never seems to go out of style. Now with the release of Pokemon Go, a mobile app that lets people catch Pokemon with a tracking GPS, the chaos to be the very best is non-stop.

People have followed these screens around the world catching Pokemon.

People have followed these screens around the world catching Pokemon.

Earlier this year the news dropped that there would be a mobile game that would let anyone catch all original 151 Pokemon. But it wasn’t until two months ago that Apple and Android released it on to their stores. Over that time, social media and the public have blown up about it. News stories have appeared about Pokemon cooking and even the public believing that the app is secretly a way to make people exercise. Over time you’d think the craziness would’ve died down; well that’s wrong. With Snapchat having segments of news around the world, the game society still finds ways to hack or use cheat codes for catching certain Pokemon that are hard to obtain throughout the game. Cooking shows are always happy to slap pikachu’s face on a cupcake or cookie. There was even controversy about the first person finding all Pokemon within one month of the game being released.

Now you would ask why Pokemon hasn’t died over the years when everyone is growing up? Well, it is a part of everyone’s childhood. It’s hard to believe of anyone who hasn’t heard of it. With Ask Ketchum being a 10 year old boy for the past two decades, it’s hard not to follow his journey to be a Pokemon master and catch them all. We just hope Game Freak and their developers keep coming with more games, TV shows and movies as well as updating Pokemon Go every often.
