TV Girl Delivers in San Antonio

On September 21 ,2023 indie band Tv Girl came to San Antonio. The band came into focus in recent years on social media, with songs like “Lovers Rocks” and “Not Allowed” becoming their most streamed songs. However I was most excited to see them performer “The Blonde” and “Not Allowed”.

I attended the concert with one of my bestfriends,”I was so excited I even pre-ordered the tickets in may” said Yuliana Del Leon (11).

This concert was my first ever, so that definitely made me even more excited. Many kids from Lee High School also showed up to this concert as this band is very well known in todays youth. They performed 17 songs, some new and some old. Even though their newest album Grapes upon the vine was not very well received by their fans, many still showed a positive attitude towards those songs.

Tv girl did an amazing job of giving their fans an immersive experience. Building up their most popular songs, tossing vinyls in the crowds, and remixing the original songs gave even their older music a fresh feel. They made time to talk to their fans and create a personal connection with everyone. This alone made the experience much more special.

As a band, they played and had fun, giving one another and the crowd a once in a lifetime experience. I hope they soon return to San Antonio, as that’s not something I or anyone else who attended would miss.
