The cure to senioritis has hit with Project Graduation. The event is set for Dave and Busters, and tickets are on sale through April 2.

Fundraisers for this event are ongoing.

The Fashion Show March 1 had much more participation than last year’s show with about 80 people within the show including parents and staff, they were able to earn a lot of money for the event.

There were approximately 35 students participants and 25 of those models were seniors to help raise money for their Project Graduation. The fashion show was able to raise a decent amount of money and will be distributed to PTA, Ms. Rademacher and Project Graduation.

“Many students that were in the fashion show were able to get volunteer hours,”  Rademacher said. “We were able to show the many different style on campus, from the booster clubs and the retro looks we used to have here from where TR first began and we were able to actually see how styles began and where they started with staff and students as opposed to style we reflect with today.”

The show was dedicated to Andrea Reyna who had passed away the week before, and her dream to become a stylist and fashion designer. It was able to show a retro view through fashion through the activities at school and show the total meaning of fashion here.

“I do believe we made a decent amount of money so now we will start selling Project Graduation tickets for $20 until April 2 and will not be sold at the door so if you want to spend one last night with your senior class get to buying your tickets now,” class president, Ben Pelayo, said.

Pelayo and a couple of students were able to get together over spring break and make a video that will be played during the morning announcements to encourage students to go to project graduation. PTA’s next move to help make money will be a yard sale on Saturday, April 6. They will also have a Project Graduation 3 mile Run/Walk/Stroll on Thursday May 2 at 4:30 p.m. which will be free to students and $10 for faculty and the public with the proceeds going to Project Graduation.
