Girls soccer moves two spots in rankings

Another shutout win, this time against Churchill 2-0 Feb. 6, leaped the girls soccer team’s place from seventh to fifth on theĀ MySA.comĀ rankings. The team now stands at 7-2-1 (W-L-T).

Junior midfielder Ana Campa ended the 33 minute deadlock with a header in the first half, giving the team a 1-0 lead into the half. Junior forward Kyra Falcone would later cap the win with her 13th goal of the season with 13 minutes left in the game.

The team currently leads the district in assists and least goals allowed (total and per game average). Also, they hold the third spot on the goal leader board with 35.

The team will play Lee Fri. Feb. 13 at 5 p.m. at BAC-East.
