The varsity volleyball team ended their last district game with a win against Lee at Littleton Gym on Oct. 25. It was the last district game for Coach Margaret Mitcham.
Mitcham has been coaching for 32 years; 14 of those years at Mac and won 548 games. Coach Mitcham has impacted not only the school but also it’s students.
In return, to show gratitude, Principal Martinez, athletic coaches, students, and parents showed up to Littleton gym to surprise Mitcham with: flowers, signs, hugs and tears, but most importantly love. Her down-to-earth and humble heart won’t be forgotten; the community appreciate her time spent at the school and are sad to see a passionate and benevolent person leave. She poured her radiant, delightful spirit into the staff members and students which made her genuinely special. The student body wish Coach Mitcham nothing but the best because she deserves it.
