The spring season is here and that means the flowers are blooming and the birds are chirping. With any free time you have you should sit down with a bucket of popcorn and a drink and watch a movie. Whether it be a comedy or a drama, or even a horror movie, there’s something for everyone to watch this spring season. Here is a list of 5 movies YOU can watch to get you in the mood of spring.

HOP:Β  This is a children’s movie about a bunny who is going to have to take his father’s place as the easter bunny but wants a life as a rockstar in Hollywood so he escapes to Los Angeles only to find out that the Chicks back on Easter Island are planning a takeover.

This movie was one of my favorite spring movies growing up, it really gets you in the mood for Easter and the overall spring feel. 4.5/5 πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ—

Tangled: This is a movie about a girl who has magical hair that can keep people young. Her stepmother uses her hair to keep her young and has been holding Rapunzel captive but when Rapunzel meets a thief, she asks him to save her and free her from this state of capture.

I have only seen this movie once but it’s a classic Disney movie and exceeds all expectations. It’s full of color and flowers and has just this magical feeling when you watch it. 5/5 πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ•

Peter Rabbit: This is about a group of rabbits that live in a garden until a new homeowner moves in and wants them out. Peter has to reclaim his and every other rabbit’s place in the garden.

I ended up really liking this movie, and it has the perfect spring movie feel and is a great comedy for the whole family. 5/5 πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ•

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off: This is about a guy who wants to ditch school for a day so he comes up with a plan to skipall his classes. That’s about it.

I watched this movie a while back and thought it was funny and just an overall good movie to watch when you have nothing else but time. 4.5/5 πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ—

Beau Is Afraid: This is a movie about a man who comes to the news that his mother has passed away and he must face all of his fears and embark on a journey to get back to his mother.

This movie is more trippy than about a certain season in specific but with most of the visuals in this movie I’d say it has lots of spring moments and while it’s branded as a surrealist tragicomedy or a horror comedy, when I watched it I was more enticed with the choreography and the way everything was done. It was an extremely well-done and unique type of movie. It is 3 hours though, so if you have all of that time I do recommend sitting down and really taking this whole film in. 5/5 πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ•

I’d say the movies on this list have a clear representation of spring, but you’ll have to sit down, grab some popcorn, and see for yourself to believe me.
