Seniors are making plans for themselves after they graduate on June 6, next Saturday evening. From there, life will take this class of 2015 in many different directions.

The Big Stick recently polled 100 seniors at random about their college plans,  78 percent of them are going to college next year, 20 percent said no and two percent said they didn’t know if they were going or not.aregoing Sheet1-2

Senior Charles Peterson is going to San Antonio College for graphic design. He wants to make posters for all different types of movies.

“I want to work in Hollywood and make tons of money by making posters for movies, and make my own t-shirt with pictures for a hobby,” Peterson said.

Of the students that are college bound, 63 percent  are staying in  San Antonio, 24 percent of them are leaving San Antonio but staying in Texas, and 13 percent of them are going out of state.wheregoing Sheet1-2

Senior Steven Guerrero is going to St.Phillips for automotive and mechanical engineering.

“I always saw my dad in the garage working on something or cleaning up. I saw a interest in this and have favoritism with classic cars,” Said Steven Guerrero. “Classic cars were the time of life.”

Wherever life takes them, there are things they will miss about the comfort of these last 17 or 18 years and the relative ease of high school. More than anything, students said they would most miss their friends and teachers.

“I’m going to miss my friends the most, because they made school worth while and worth coming to four years.”
