Number One Team In The City Loses

Losing to the Johnson Jaguars, the boys soccer team collected their third loss in a 2-0 defeat.

The boys played very well having five shots on goal against an aggressive Jags defense, but could not get the ball past the good play of Johnson’s goalie. After Friday’s loss, the boys fell to the number two spot in the rankings.

“To me the ranking doesn’t matter that much as long as we continue to do good throughout the season,” Parker Miller (10) said. “We play in the hardest district around and coming out without a loss is almost unheard of.”

The team is now 11-4-3 (W-T-L) as of March 4.
