The varsity football team will face the Reagan Rattlers at Heroes Stadium on Friday, Sept. 29 at 7:30 p.m.
“My goal when I am playing out on the field is taking advantage of every snap I get, because you never know when your last snap might be,” senior Dalton Deering said. “And to do my job on the field the best I possibly can.”
Most of the team has been a form of family since freshman year.
“We have been with each other for four years,” Deering said.
Quarterback Tyler Vitt won player of the week on Sept. 20, 2017.
“I was really honored to get the award and it’s something for the team,” Vitt said. “Not just me but for the guys, just for everybody.”
Vitt says he gets pretty competitive at every game.
“I think the opponents on the other side are just like us it’s not really a difference between us and them,” Vitt said. “It’s just someone we are playing.”
