Almost, Maine Review

Showcasing their hard work, the theatre department presented Almost, Maine. The show will run on Jan. 29-31 starting at 7 p.m. and on Feb. 1, at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Each scene in Almost, Maine is about a different couple with different stories about their experience with love. Each scene has a metaphor that makes the audience reflect on the message.

I personally loved the play. The students connected with their roles and became the characters they played. Each scenario was breathtaking from either the suspense or the connection the audience felt with the characters. Scenes three and four especially made the audience feel like they were part of the story because it was relatable and carried an important message.

Overall, the production was a good combination of laughter, suspense and unexpected events that kept the audience on the edge of seat, eager to know how each story was going to end.
