PALS will host the annual Mactober Fest in the courtyard on Wednesday, Oct. 14. The festival starts right after school and ends at 6:15 p.m. Entrance fees are $2.00 and an additional $0.50 for each ticket used for booths.
All the money collected at the entrance and through ticket purchases will benefit the Down Syndrome Association.
“It’s giving back to our community,” senior Kassie Espinoza said, “It brings us [to] one goal, which is to raise money for an organization.”
Different school organizations will have booths set up for students and the entire neighborhood to enjoy.
“I think it’s going to be fun and great,” sophomore Emanuel De Jesus said. “Seeing all my friends and hanging out with them, is the best part.”
