If you are a student at Garner then you know that we all grade levels are taking the STAAR Tests next we April 1st and 2nd .Also, if you haven’t heard we are having a Pep-Rally for the STAAR Test @7:35am March28, 2014 in the Auditorium while the Mac Arthur Band and Cheer will be here. As if that’s not enough, the teachers will have a Crazy Teachers Parade going “Crazy” over STAAR Testing.

Have you been waiting for Valentines Day well, wait no longer. Yes Valentine’s Day is finally here. “ I can’t wait to get all my friends carnations in the cafeteria!” says Kristy Beers(7). People just love the gift of being friends or love. “My Valentine is Richard,” says Lea Zeniga (7) but some people don’t like Valentine’s Day like Mrs. Puricelli (7th Reading) she said, “I think Valentine’s is overrated because they just made up a holiday so can spend your money on chocolate, which, did you notice, gets more expensive. Almost up to $5.00 for a bag of M&Ms! That’s why I’m against it.” So if you either a Valentines or not just know that you friends and family love you. Happy Valentines Day Garner Yearlings!
If you haven’t heard, the legendary Justin Bieber got arrested. He got arrested on the 23rd of January. Currently some of his charges have been dropped like the DUI (driving under the influence) and DWI ( driving while intoxicated ) even though Marijuana and Xanax was found in his system .

“ I think it was pretty pathetic that he was smiling in the mug shot because he could have hurt someone doing that but he is human and we need to forgive and forget.” says Mrs.Bean (7th English).
He turned himself in and has more charges like assault to his limo driver and egging his neighbors house with more than $50,000 in damage.
